Stellar job on this season! I definitely want more! The humour was back and was great, I loved the growth arc of Tucker as a leader. I would like to see more adventures of Wash and Carolina by themselves - perhaps chasing some of the other Freelancers!

    I want moarrrr!!

This season was great. It struck all the major chords of comedy (fucking Tucker getting served) and emotion (Grif leaving). The new writer nailed all of character's unique personalities.

There are flaws - the combat was a little slow and the ending wasn't AS gripping as it could have been, but that doesn't make it a bad season.

This was one of my favorite seasons so far. Loved it.

I've been waiting since they first aired this episode for the next one but it seems like it's been so long *looks around at the waste land of rocks and cave walls around me* I hope they haven't forgotten me, no they couldn't have, yeah i bet they're looking for me right now! *camera zooms out of focus as background of loneliness plays with light wind* y-yeah they'll be here anytime now *waits for the rest of blue team to come deeper into the cave and pick me up from are first mission agent Florida gave me before going to adress the other rookies Tucker and church* Any time now *waits for weeks in the bunker for the others then realises he was forgotten and starts to build his own underground base as he plots to take revenge for being replaced by caboose as there third man on blue team*

I started your next story line now please bring back red vs blue I'm dying over here

It almost feels like they retired the Church character, if that's the case, are they going to retire any other of the original cast, I mean, look at all the extra characters they've amassed since the Chorus Trilogy. If they make another season, I will be interested in what they will do, will it be like season 14, or are they going to introduce another RvB crew. it just might peak my interest. NOOO WAIT, awesome idea here, "RvB Season 16: The Chronicles of Spencer Porkinsenson". WHO'S WITH ME ON THAT?

so disappointed with the end. no big fight like sage and surge could have has so sad. and the hole fight was bad. they had much much better fights in the past. like when they had to fight an army of texs or any of the tex vs Carolina fights. That crap was awesome.  just awesome fight scenes that never happened this season. I love RVB but this season was a huge waste of time like it was missing that humor and action from before. so is this the beginning of the end?

I want the next season (or some season after that) to feature Sigma as the main villain. I know he was the one manipulating the Meta but I feel like he should have a more outward role other than plotting behind everyone's back. I think RT can make a story where he finds a way to escape the EMP with all the other AI electronically to another location because I don't think it would be in his character to just sit around and let himself and the Alpha be destroyed. That would be one way to bring Church back (Tex too) and make an awesome season. But, for all I know, RT may have already had that idea and are just saving the best for last.

If I could change something i would make miles a primary writer again, have Burnie the lead on humor, amd find some way to bring back "Church" in whatever form that is. I just want him back as a current, in the present, primary character. Every single episode without him is just missing.... a big chunk. Call me nestalgic, but i miss our hero. A lot.

This was the first season in which I didnt enjoy a single episode the way I enjoyed previous seasons. I agree that miles writing and burnies humor being left out of this season made the whole season fall flat. Even the villan was cliche and uninteresting. It didnt feel like a real challenge like the other seasons. There werent any moments where I was on the edge of my seat nor had tears in my eyes from laughter or heartache for the characters. The chorus trilogy was amazing. Better and better as it continued. The freelancer trilogy (personal favorite) was badass, had the best one liners, featured the coolest music and had the most character/plot development. I remember BEGGING for each next episode of that trilogy and telling my friends how great it was. The trilogy just prior to that (reconstruction?) Was suspenseful, the meta amd church were my favorite parts.

I know exactly how you feel.

Burnie, Matt and the others did an incredible job cementing the series in the first ten seasons.

Miles did a fucking stellar job with the Chorus Trilogy (I love it more and more each time I view it).

      But this...

I honestly didn't like a single aspect of this seasons. Don't get me wrong, the cast and crew did a great job as usual, but Nicolosi is in my opinion the wrong guy to write for this series.

Let's just pray that Miles returns one day...

Im disappointed. But you know, this episode kind of makes me believe that it then loops into the first season and keeps on infinitely looping and looping. Church dying, caboose saying his final goodbyes, church thinking it's just his imagination and continues on eventually finding out he's an AI and dying all over again just to see a rookie talking to him... Once again.

I will be completely honest, this season and this episode makes me feel as though there won't be another season and this is the end, not including spin-offs of course. However throughout all of the seasons so far, the endings have always had something to tease and hint that there will be another one coming soon. Wether it's a cliff hanger, the mood of some of the characters or just the atmosphere being dark and cloudy.

But in this, there is no dark atmosphere, no angry or revenge filled characters, or even cliffhangers suggesting a continuation or even a spin-off.

Also the animation and visuals have been lacking for a season or two. This might not be relevant to the series ending but it makes me feel as though they don't have ideas anymore, that they can't continue on anymore. Maybe because of financial issues or that they don't have that much time to work on them(including story writing, visualizing, animation and motion capture, I mean, these episodes take weeks to make, especially now that they are 10-15 minutes long. We've seen how long it took to release this season compared to the past, even with the quality going down.

This is my conclusion and I don't think I'm wrong.

The last 3 episodes were good but I didn't really enjoy this season. I loved the Chorus Trilogy and the Freelancer stuff and everything before that but it feels like it's not as funny or strong in story anymore. The seasons by Burnie were a lot funnier and the seasons by Miles were a lot stronger in story but this falls short in both departments in my opinion, and the animation and machinimation were really sub-par. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with season 16 but I hope it's better than this.

Dear everyone complaining about S15 not starting at the end of S13, I think you missed the entire point of the finale. The hero never gets to see if his sacrifice worked, he dies for everyone else but he never gets to see the victory. We didn't get to see the ending because that was the point church was trying to make, sometimes you've just gotta have a little faith that things will work out the way they're meant to, even if you never get to see how the events play out. We were never going to see those final moments, If you don't realise that then you didn't pay attention or you're just really dumb I don't know. You really need to read between the lines and if you can't understand the subtleties behind these big moments then you should either stop commenting just to complain or find someone who can explain it for you. You need to stop telling RT how to do the job they've been doing for 15 years like you know better lol who the hell are you guys to "Forgive them" or tell them that they "Can do better"?

I can't say I'm speaking for everyone and, hell, your comment may not even be regarding mine but I'm going to go ahead and clarify my argument without meaning to imply any insult to your or to anyone who disagrees with me.

I disagree with how you interpreted the point of the finale, because Church's monologue wasn't about not seeing the fight, it was about not seeing the result which is exactly what the viewer saw at the very beginning of this season.  We saw the Reds and Blues alive and we know that Chorus is saved, and we even see how their actions influence people such as Locus.  Of course we had faith that everything was going to turn out fine, and we see that result.

However, as I and other's have commented, it was the lack of delivery that resulted our disappointment.  They built up this huge climax, built up Tucker finally in the Meta suit, even built up Church's sacrifice implying to something epic that we would see and they just didn't let us see it.  There was over a year of built-up expectation that was wasted.  I, personally, had gotten the impression that S14 was a bunch of fillers (entertaining fillers, mind you) because they wanted to address some fun points while, at the same time, putting their time and effort into a really compelling new season with some great action sequences (which was hopefully going to include the s15 finale battle) but there just wasn't anything there.  They left the fans too much space to expect too much.

Now, if I were to agree with your point on the finale, saying that Church's sacrifice meant us not seeing the battle, then they could have worked with that and put more focus on the point of his speech in this season.  The thing is, it got completely swept under the rug.  They were between a rock and a hard place, leaving the viewer anxiously waiting to see how they could possibly win, even with the Meta suit on their side.  Did any of them get any major injuries?  How did all of them act together in such a moment of pressure?  How well did Tucker do in the Meta suit?  How did Tucker and Caboose react once they heard Church's message?  All of these questions, and countless more, were never answered, leaving the viewer left wanting because we were all given a happy result topped with a bow saying, "Everything went perfectly a-ok, no drama here."  No meta suit, no other AI's, no more civil war on Chorus.  What I'm trying to say is, if the point was for us to not see the battle, then they could have given us more than just a brief dismissal of the whole thing that had been so greatly anticipated.

One thing I'd like to address, which is important, is the fact that this season wasn't a bad one (it wasn't great, mind you), it just was a weak start after such a strong end (linearly, anyway).  Everything that was great about the s13 finale was now completely gone, like nothing really happened.

I find a good example of what I'm trying to say is BBC's Sherlock season 2 finale.  (SPOILER ALERT)  It ends with the viewer seeing Sherlock jump off a building and kill himself to save his friends but after the credits we see that he's alive.  We then had 2-3 years until season 3 to come up with all sorts of theories of how he possibly survived the fall   Then, in the season 3 premiere, it started off slow, not giving any answers at first, but it jumped off the season with great laughs and the same strong drama on which the previous season ended until, finally, the viewers finally got the answer for which they were waiting.  Unfortunately, those 2-3 gave the viewers too much time to grow their own theories, some of which were better than the result provided by the show, therefore making the eventual reveal somewhat lackluster.  Regardless, they still delivered and that, by itself, made the fans happy.

This season of RvB just couldn't reach the bar they set from the previous season, mostly due to the s13 ending and the following lack-there-of.  I, personally, am still expecting to see that fight (I wanna see Tucker be badass in the Meta suit, dammit!).  Right now, I'm putting faith in the RT team, hoping the reason they didn't show it in this season is because they're wanting to do another build-up to the big reveal or they're wanting to make the final sequence perfect before letting the fans see it rather than leaving us out to dry because they feel they won't be able to meet viewer expectations (right now, it's feeling more like the latter).

Now, to address your final question: "who the hell are you guys to "Forgive them" or tell them that they "Can do better"?"

As I've stated before, I can't say I'm speaking for everyone, but I and other disappointed persons are paying backers of a series that we love and have been following for years.  Therefore, we know the show can do better because we've seen them do better.  I, personally, was just stating my disappointment (albeit a little heatedly) and then explaining my disappointment while offering some criticism at the same time.  Therefore, I wasn't "commenting just to complain" and I'm sure others weren't as well.  We're free to be disappointed and let the creators know why.  So you shouldn't group everyone who disagrees with you as having a lack of attention or being "just really dumb."  Some of us explained the subtleties that we interpreted in an obviously educated manner.  I disagree with your interpretation of Church's speech and the s13 finale.  I think you're looking at this season with some fan bias, which is fine (maybe even a good thing).  Am I going to call you dumb for it?  No.  Perhaps, instead of just insulting people's intelligence, you could take into account their viewpoint and, hell, even offer a good argument in return.  Just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them dumb and you smart or them wrong and you right.

I appreciate the argument you brought to the table but I'm hoping you're wrong.  I want to see Tucker kicking ass in the Meta suit so BADLY!!!  >.<

I absolutely agree with thatssomegoodjoe.  Season 13 ended on such a beautiful, emotional, action-packed note that left me crying and begging for more.  I had patiently waited through season 14 since it was an entertaining season and it left more tension to be built up for season 15, just as thatssomegoodjoe had commented.  Just like my fellow fan, I also knew season 15 wasn't going to jump right into the action, as would be expected from any continuation from a cliffhanger, but I kept waiting for the dramatic recap.  I had been so disappointed when they just briefly skimmed over it in a sad summary that lasted less than a damn minute.  I was willing to forgive this, however, if the season continued to build up on the hype of anticipation (albeit the hype was starting to diminish more and more with each episode).  But, by the end of the season, we were left with nothing but a sad summary that lasted less than a damn minute.  I'm willing to forgive this as long as we see the long-awaited battle in another season (maybe you're trying to hold it off for some reason that I can no longer foresee).

That flaw aside, its now time to address the season as a whole.  What the hell happened, guys?  Where was the action?  Where was the great animation?  Where was the plot?  I didn't fall in love with this show until season 6 with its wonderful original animation, the action-packed battle scenes, and the wonderfully confusing plot.  The show only seemed to keep getting better after that, ending with the powerful conclusion of season 13.  Then there was the filler, yet entertaining, season 14 which was fine, but then there was the disappointing, slow, boring season 15.  I trekked through the first several episodes patiently waiting until I started getting so fed up with it that I stopped following weekly.  Don't get me wrong, the character development of the Red team (Grif and Simmons specifically) was very pleasing, the return of Locus was a wonderful surprise and the reveal of the fates of the other Freelances was great, but that's all this season had going for it.  The 'other' Reds and Blues were lackluster and the so-called climax was heavily lacking.  I honestly wondered halfway through the season if some inexperience amateur had picked up the reigns of writing the script because, what the hell was this?  Why was it that the best animated sequence was yet another fight between Tex and Carolina, in a flashback, no less?  The best animation we get and it was boring because it was the same old song and dance we've seen over and over again since season 9.  C'mooooooooon.

    Anyway, I'm ranting.

I think one of the main reasons this season was such a let-down in comparison to other seasons is because of what it had to follow.  It just couldn't hold on the the weight that season 13 carried, especially since they were just going to fly right over the dramatic events we missed at the end of season 13.  Seriously, guys, you gave us over a year to build up expectations and you just didn't deliver is such a horrible way.  You built us up too much, guys.

    I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm repeating myself.

I noticed at the end of this episode we didn't see what became of Donut after he got zapped by the time machine thing.  I'm keeping up the faith here and hoping you guys pick up the mess that was this season.

So much went wrong here.  The one source of good tension was that guy who was hunting Tucker and you butchered any expectations with a lame joke.  "You've been served."  -___-  I sir, have been served a raw trout when I ordered a medium-rare steak.  I hate fish.

Also, the drama with Wash was a cop-out, at best.  His strike to the neck was probably the most dramatic scene in the season (which is a sad statement in an of itself) and it was brushed off and over just as much as the season 13 finale (though wasn't nearly as bad).  Locus, a incredibly talented merc, was nothing more than the deus ex machina that left as soon as he came and Wash, a veteran-ed and loved freelancer and who is the second-strongest character, was nothing more than a frickin' damsel in distress.  Are you kidding me?  And you're just going to knock Carolina out of commission, just like that?

I think I get what you were going for, going back to the basics, right?  Focus on the Reds and Blues and have them duke it out against another group of Reds and Blues.  Look at their similarities yet their bold contrasts!  They're the same but yet different!  The Good Reds and Blues vs. the Bad Reds and Blue.  Oh the drama!

Except, no, my friend.  No drama.  No point.  The Chorus trilogy succeeded in having character growth while being surrounded in satisfactory action sequences.  Take the formula you had there and apply it here.  Because this new chapter is going to need it.

Anyway, I digress.  I know you guys can do better.  I can't wait to see it in the next season.  Though my expectations have, admittedly, substantially dropped for the seasons to come.  Donut's been pretty shadowed in the background since season 6 so I'm hoping his character gets the limelight he deserves.

Also, seriously, Church is gone for good?  He was the main reason I kept watching this show through the first five seasons.  T-T

Um???  Um?  I'm sorry.  Is this the end?  Like the END end?  Like "why are we not here" the end?

(Sigh), I have to be honest here, this season was just terrible in my opinion. Absolutely terrible, but let me explain. First, I don't really consider season 14 apart of the RvB seasons because the episodes were just a collage of random styles and ideas in order to fill in plot holes. So, when I heard that season 15 was coming out, I lost my freaking mind with excitement. That excitement however was because I had thought they were going to be leaving off where season 13 ended. The anxiety I had gained during the last few minutes of s13 was indescribable because the build up was spot on, filling me with EXTREME excitement for their last stand but at the same time disappointment because I saw how little time was left in the episode so I knew that that's all it was, a build up. When the episode ended, I just sat there both emotional and upset. I was fine with the fact that I had gotten teased HARD because at the time I had every ounce of confidence that there would be another season that would give me the sense of completion and satisfaction I so desperately wanted. When I saw that the first episode of this season didn't immediately start where s13 ended, I was disappointed yeah sure but even I knew that wouldn't be a logical place to start off the season. There has to be some kind of build up or just some kind of structure in place to keep the viewers interested and even asking questions in order to keep them coming back for the next episode and then the next one after that. Although it's been done before, you don't want to just immediately start off with a full on 20 minute episode with 10 to 15 minutes of it being Mo-capped, animated, action packed deliciousness. I understood. But I have to admit that all sense of patience, understanding, and confidence had completely disappated on episode 5. When they had all stood around the table and started explaining what they had been doing all this time, I saw it. In the distance was what started out as a small speck of light that gradually got closer and closer. "We decided we were due some time off". What's this? could it be? "Caboose went and made friends with the dinosaurs". Yes, yes indeed it is. "then chris convinced simmons that game of thrones actually happened". It has to be, right?? "Caboose got stuck in another dimension" ITS ANOTHER BUILD UP!!! "Grif spiked simmons couscous with his meth meth shrooms". Then, it happened. "I would love to know what happened next".............This moment. This moment is what I had waited SO LONG for. I played it all out in my head. They would cut to a wide shot of everyone at the table lowering their heads or even transition from one cut to another of medium shots with two to three subjects in frame showing the sadness that immediately floods the room all while a depressing melody plays in the background. One of the members would then say something along the lines of "We made it out, but at a cost" or even "We won, but we also lost". That's when it would fade to black and then fade to a wide shot of our beloved characters with their guns cocked, super armor powered up, and ready for a door to be busted open with bullets and soldiers pouring in, teasing us for the MO-CAPPED, ANIMATED, ACTION PACKED DELICIOUSNESS THAT WOULD COME IN THE NEXT EPISODE..........but that's not what had happened. That is not what happened, at all. Instead, we get a PATHETIC, PITIFUL 36 SECOND EXPLANATION THAT IS PUT DOWN AND THEN IMMEDIATELY FORGOTTEN. I had to pause the video so I could put all focus into slapping my face and laugh hysterically from the 3,000 pounds of disappointment that had just landed on me. Now whatever your reasoning for this is, whether it be because you didn't have the time, budget, or enough people, you CANNOT give the same feeling from explaining a sad/exciting event as you can from SHOWING me the event. I believe that this was a crucial part that was abosolutely needed. I believe that they NEEDED to have this scene in order to make me laugh, cry, and to put the cliffhanger of season 13 to an END. Even if you decided to blow past it because you wanted to focus more on the new plot, I still think it was a failed attempt because there were no animated action scenes what so ever. I became a fan of RvB after I watched the combat training epsiode with tex against the reds and blues. Which I'm sure is the same reason for a lot of other people. it's what seperated RvB from everyone else that made similar content using the halo games. To conclude this rant, I want to say that the majority of my poor review of this season IS mainly because I didn't get the action packed satisfaction I wanted, but it's a little more than that. Season 13 ended on a very good cliffhanger (In my opinion) that was built up very well and succeeded in getting viewers hyped and emotional. So when 15 arrived but had just completely ran past the subject, it left an abosolute terrible taste in my mouth. Not only that but I just feel as though there wasn't very much development in the current plot. When wash was shot, I could tell the scene was only done to try and make you hate the antagonist group a little more to try and give you an even greater sense of victory when they're defeated, but you kind of forget that it even happened by the next episode. However, the idea of abducting all the freelancers to torture them in a pretty inhumane way was definately good though and I really liked it. Now i've spent about 4 hours typing this and re-editing this to try and help you better understand why I am so frustrated with this season but this is still kind of a rant and I know there are a lot of things that I am most likely wrong about and that there are many things I just don't understand so I would love it if you would give me some feedback about what you all think. Do you think I am wrong and that this season didn't need any animation or a chorus fight scene to make it better? Were you fine with how they handled the explanation? Is there a tweet or facebook post from one the crew talking about decisions that were made that they didn't like but had to be done for time management? I'm curious to know. I love RvB and roosterteeth but I just feel that they could have done way better.

I guess this explains how Vic managed to become omnipotent in Season 14...

    555-VICK!!

Also, on a more serious note, what did Vic mean when he said "It's me!" while he was inside Temple's computer?

    Just wondering...

When he was in their system, he found the Blues and Reds A.I. 'Bic'. When Temple was talking with Sarge, he made the comment that if 'Bic' was busy downloading porn again he'd be pissed off. Basically, even Vic found his double.

He found the transmission of Church sending a message to command through him, it was basically our first clue that Church's "distress signal" was fake.

There was never an A.I. Named "Bic" he said if BUCKY was downloading porn. Bucky is the counterpart to tucker.

RT could have a spinoff series of grifball and include some of the reds and blues as guest stars in some episodes or the  adventures of planet chorus's very own version of the reds and blues which have Jensen (Fem Simmons) Smith (Caboose, but more smarter ;), Bitters (Grif), Dr Grey (Doc but crazier) and other new characters to join in to fill the rest. Some characters could of originally been on the Feds
