St. Patrick's Day always falls within Lent. Given all the strangeness around the sanctity of the holy day, it makes me wonder if it was created because people weren't able to make it all the way through Lent.

Just a heads up. The USA started its Daylight Saving Time adjustment on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 1AM across its applicable timezones which includes Austin, TX where RT is based.
For those who follow a different Daylight Saving Time or don't have one, this means that all scheduled Rooster Teeth content will appear an hour earlier. This includes live broadcasts.

Something that occasionally/often/always (I cannot decide which word to use, as its happened twice now for shows I cared about) excites and then disappoints me with Rooster Teeth is when they cancel their podcasts which have such value.
What do I mean? Obviously all podcasts have some value to someone?
What I mean is that RT has had podcasts that I listened to because of the combined knowledge of their hosts. Now the first time this happened was for The Patch. Thank god it came back, but when it first was canceled, my immediate reaction was "but where will I get my informed gaming discussions?" Yes, The Patch hosts weren't usually game devs themselves, but years of experience working with the game dev community resulted in an insight I severely missed once it was gone.
I now feel the same thing in relation to Fan Service. It has not even been a week and I already miss hearing Animators discussing anime, because they brought a wealth of knowledge I didn't even know that I was missing.
I started watching more anime because I listened to the show. I wouldn't have watched Yuri!!! On Ice, or made an effort to return to series I had fallen off of.
And when they watched Shirobako... It brought a depth to the series I never could have found just by watching it myself.
I've tried a few different replacements, but the hosts are never quite right. More interns than industry professionals...
I miss each of these shows, and wonder what I will miss when they cancel other shows. I already know I get so much tech news from RT podcast, or games to try from Glitch Please.
If anybody reads this, leave your favorite Fan Service replacement show.
