  • Red Vs Blue Vs Halo MCC LASO Playlist

Yesterday I decided that everyday I'd be streaming Halo on Legendary with all skulls on.  I love Halo and I love Rooster Teeth and its wonderful, creative community.  So come watch me fail miserably @  I'm not a famous or popular streamer so I don't have a subscribe button.  So follow me instead... maybe?  Also. if you enjoy my stream to the point you would like to donate money for some reason, donate it to a charity of your choosing.  You don't know me so I don't expect you to send me money.  Anyways, thank you for possibly watching and please pass this along.  It's for fun and maybe later down the line we could set up a donation goal for charity!!!!

PS.  I'll be streaming weekdays at 7 pm and weekends at 10am EST!

  • Can't Stop Won't Stop Playing Halo

Any Achievement Hunter fans out there??  Of course there are!  As most of you know or should know, Andy Panton recently streamed PUBG and he could only eat chicken dinners if he won.  Overall, he was quite successful.  Well, I'd like to do something similar.  However, I'm not good at games like PUBG or Fortnite.  Ultimately, if I chose to do the same challenge I'd most definitely die and the idea wouldn't be creative.  So instead, I'm going to play every Halo game in the Master Chief Collection in order and maybe Halo: Reach as well.  The catch however is I am playing on the LASO Playlist and I can't stop streaming until I beat a level.  For those of you who don't know, LASO stands for Legendary All Skulls On.  I tested this on Halo: Anniversary today and it took me 3+ hours to beat the very first level which would normally take roughly 15-20 minutes.  I'm also going to add in the additional challenge of once I start a level, I must finish it.  If I kill an enemy, I am therefore locked into a level.

Now I will continuously stream and the only time I will walk away from the game is either to go to the bathroom or get a drink.  All of which should take me a few minutes.  Stream format will be like classic Achievement Hunter videos with just the gameplay and my voice.  No webcam cause its about the game not my receding hairline lol.  The last thing I want to discuss is donations.  I don't have a donation thing set up and I never will.  If you for someone reason enjoy watching me fail over and over again to the point you'd subscribe(if you could).  Please donate that money to a charity instead!!!  And follow...? Maybe....  Probably not.  Anyways, I'll be streaming weekdays at 7 pm EST and weekends at 10am EST.  I'll be at and I hope to see your lovely faces there!!!!  Wait I won't actually see you or your faces....  Just enjoy my pain and misery!

    Hello all!

I'm sure the AH Crew have already spoiled some stuff, or maybe they haven't! But I get the sense people are excited to discover if Geoff and the gang found any ghosts on our recent adventure. I can't say anything for sure, but I did snap two photos I'll share: one of a spooky tree that looked nice all lit up, and another of the crew sitting around the campfire telling stories. This element--of story--is just one aspect that will set Achievement Hunters apart from other paranormal reality shows.

We still have more to shoot, but hope everyone is excited!

  • The Meaning of, and All Things Regarding to Life

I don't expect anyone to read this.  And by some miracle you are, thank you?!  It's easy to say "this is my dream job" or "this is where I want to be."  But how to get there isn't the same way.  When I graduated high school in June of 2012, I never really stopped and wondered whats next?  I could always see myself doing so many things, but I could never settle for just one.  I wanted to be an athlete, a musician, a soldier, etc; and its weird to think now that this year it will have been 6 years later and I have nothing to show for it besides part time jobs and no real sense of purpose, belonging, or fulfillment.

It took me a while and I hate to admit that I've wasted many years doing nothing.  But I know where I want to be.  Probably like most of the younger fans, I want to work here, at Rooster Teeth and/or Achievement Hunter.  So how do I get there?  Unfortunately, I never attended much college and no community college I know of offers courses in things that interest me that could land me a job.  So I feel as though I am back at square one.  And a lot of young people, myself included, whether they admit it or not suffer from anxiety and depression at some point. Sometimes, those feelings never goes away.  So something as little as not going to school will make me want to give up.  And I won't lie and say I haven't shut down before because they have gotten the better of me.  And it never helps that I always want to do things myself with no help.  By that I mean, pay for my own college, bills, etc.  Life would be easy if all you had to do was walk down a road already paved for you.  So do I give in and continue down my path of most definite self destruction?  No.

Metaphorically speaking, I see myself in an Andy Ralston scenario.  For those of you who don't know of him, I highly recommend you watch the movie 127 Hours.  And for the sake of my explanation, I'll give you a quick run down.  Andy Ralston is hiker who was stuck in a canyon when his arm got stuck between the canyon walls and a boulder.  After being trapped for five days, he made the choice to cut off his arm instead of waiting to be found most likely dead.  However, for my adaptation, the boulder represents all the crippling feelings, excuses, anything I've given myself to stop me from doing something with my life.

Before I mentioned I had an interest in becoming a soldier and before you ask.  No, I'm not going to try and recruit you or persuade you in anyway to join the military.  Shortly after I finished high school, I broke my hip due to a skateboarding accident.  I fell 14 feet out of the air directly onto my side.  Such a serious injury was surely to disqualify me from ever joining, right?  That's what I thought for years.  Well towards the end of 2017, I took a chance.  The first one in years in fact.  I walked into a recruiters office for the United states Air Force.  We spoke about a potential future and months later here I am almost done processing and hopefully in a few days being sworn in.  After that, I can be shipped off to basic training, get a job, and take advantage of the opportunities given to me.

You see, I cut my "arm" off to live.  If I didn't, I'd still be miserable and doing something for a living I'd regret years down the road.  Right now, I have the choice to either deal with computer programming or cyber security.  Both of those can help me secure a nice future when my time with the military comes to an end.  But, what I really want to do is go to school online for either some form of art or production during my time enlisted.  I'm hoping that four years from now, I can help out more with this company/community I've grown to love over the past 6 years of watching.  At the end of the day, no matter what unfortunate circumstances unfold or shortcomings you endure.  Fight for your future.  And if you ever don't feel any satisfaction or self fulfillment daily.  Are you really living?

  • Hello, it's been a while!

It's been a very long time since I've logged in here, so I wanted to post an entry to update those who might care about what I've been up to. After I made and submitted my terribly-made (and now out-dated) resume and cover letter to RT/AH, I prayed  every night to hear something back, hoping to potentially be apart of these awesome people that I feel like I've come to know over several years through entertainment. I know it all sounds crazy to say, but it really just feels like I belong there, and I don't mean that in a narcissistic way, it's just something I feel by how my personality is and from what other people have told me. I knew my chances were very slim to below none, but I still held and still hold hope that someday, maybe I can work with these people who already feel like long-time friends to me! Anyway, not too long after all of that, I started streaming on Twitch over @! I hope you'll check it out and enjoy my streams enough to follow and be apart of the community! For now, that's all I have to say. I hope my friends on here have been doing well as well, and I wish you all a great day!

  • Growing Up

Well I guess this is where I add a cliche this is my first journal thing that most people add, and I'm not completely sure if this journal will have an overall point but fun times. Although very recently joining the Roosterteeth website, I have been a fan of Rooster Teeth (although mostly Achievement Hunter and Let's Play) since about 2011. I was introduced to this community by my friends in Middle School. The biggest memory I have, was since there was 6 of us, we would compare which person was closer to what AH crew member, and although most of the time there was no set answer, everyone gave the answer of being closer to Gavin. (I mean he was and still is my favorite of them). And even through High School this was a major component to our friendship, talking about Lazer Team until it got released. And growing up I've been greatly impacted by every AH member.

As of recently I've decided to watch even more videos (going back through old videos that I didn't watch or watched but wanted to enjoy them again)  and I finally decided to join the community and create an account on the website. And I've got to say these past couple months of watching them more have been enjoyable.

And I mean this is really the only question I have in this journal, but since graduating I haven't hung out with that group of friends as much, minus my best pal (which I've been calling him the Michael of the group since Middle school) and realized that I want to spend more time with the rest of them. And the big idea I had was doing a little fun versus between some of us (and other friends) and was wondering if there was any ideas to add on to the fun, to add on to being more than just the VS.

That's it for my first post, soon to come when the two Team Nice Dynamite tshirts come in, me and my friend trying to replicate Michael and Gavin's poses.

This year will hopefully be my first year going to RTX. I’m going to try and make it a big one and the best thing ever. I’m hoping to be able to get a platinum ticket cheapish air fare and hotel lol. My only problem is sadly I don’t think any of my friends will be able to go and it’s going to be odd not knowing anyone. But like Barbara said a lot of people go alone and end up meeting awesomeness rt friends and other fans so it’s because of Barbara that’s I am optimistic and pumped to go to RTX this year. Thanks Barbara  barbara (Already took day off work to get tickets here is to being hopeful and possibly meet new people.)

  • My Future

I don't know if anyone will see this. I don't think that matters. However, I need an outlet to let my goals be known, and I believe this is the best place to do it. I'm just an average fan at this point; of Achievement Hunter, mainly. However, I want to be so much more. And I know how cliche that sounds, and how many people have said that before. But I want to be a part of the creative process. I want to be a part of the editing. I want to be a part of the videos. I want to be a part of Achievement Hunter. Having enjoyed their content for several years (almost 10 years by now), they've inspired me to create videos of my own and to pursue a degree in Media Production at Bowling Green State University. In two years when I graduate, I would love more than anything to become a part of the Achievement Hunter family, and the Rooster Teeth family. I'd be more than happy to prove myself as well, and to provide a portfolio of my work. Again, I'm not naive enough to think a post like this will get me anywhere, or that I'm the only person who's made a post like this. I just want to put my goals out there so that they're written somewhere, and with that I'll try my hardest to stick to them and never give up. No one is entitled to anything in this world, and I'd do anything necessary to prove myself and become a part of the Rooster Teeth family. And with that, I'll end my "rant", and get back to my studies.

  • RT Box December 2017 Impressions

gem_scheltema FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold RT Box reviews monthly

Well hey! Fancy seeing you here.

Wrapping up 2017 two months late is December's RT Box that landed in front of my face just yesterday. Talk about delayed! Better not waste anymore time, right? Except that January's box hasn't shipped anyway, so we're just continually falling further behind...

To make matters worse (for me), the box's theme is ICE COLD. And it's bloody warm here, so, it's sufficiently melted. Maybe because it's from our hotheaded friend Michael Jones? michael

Just kidding, nothing is meltable. It's just a theme. What kind of things do we consider appropriate for the theme of ICE COLD?

    - one long sleeve Rooster Teeth shirt (white; black and red print)

    - one Achievement Hunter sphere ice mold (green)

    - one RWBY Weiss Schnee papercraft (...white)

    - one Camp Camp 'Max' collectible minifigure (in the Double Gold Exclusive Lake Lilac Ice Blue)

    - one Fallout Burnie Burns pin (blue/yellow)

    - #11 of 12 of the Season 1 Rooster Teeth Gold Cards featuring The Know (about 20% were signed by those know-it-alls)

So, all but a few pictures ended up sideways. It's bloody annoying I'll tell ya. But, the shirt pictures turned out fine, so, that's great because I love the shirt design.

For the FIRST TIME EVER the shirt is printed on BOTH SIDES. Amazing. I knew they could do it.

The front has a little chattering teeth ala the Rooster Teeth logo with a few Rooster feathers underneath it.

And the back brings those feathers into context with its abundance of Roosters! So clean and eye-catching, especially with the red. This is 100% cotton and it feels like its well suited to keep you warm in Winter, especially with those long sleeves! Look at all those...look at all those CHICKENS.

Moving on to something really ice cold, we've got an ice mold that's round...all around. The picture isn't really annoying when turned sideways because it's a circle and a box.

Speaking of, it came in a box. Nice. This is made of silicon and has the AH logo printed on in black - I wonder if it'll come off. Probably not. There's a hole on the top half to make sure it's filled all the way, I guess? And each half interlocks with each other, so no water leakage (I should have tested that...). It's for whiskey. Michael likes to make frozen balls while his own balls are frozen and drop his frozen balls in his whiskey. My mother asked me why they'd give us a whiskey ice-mold, and, I said one word. Alcoholics. Don't tell them I said that, though.

From ice cold to Weiss cold, there's the final piece to the RWBY papercraft puzzle, Weiss Schnee, the Ice/Snow Queen herself, in box-form (Michael made sure to mention he's partial to Ruby. Very well done, there). She even came with her ponytail on the side, but then I realised that I wish the Yang one had her little cowlick. I didn't rip this one at all! I learned. 1/4 ain't bad. Now I have the team back together, just like the real thing. Box heads galore. My dad used to 'affectionately' refer to me as box-head. I don't know why. I should have seen our terrible relationship coming a long time ago! Ha. Hah. Welp, that is sad but it also goes great with Weiss because her dad is also an asshole!

Now, let's see, Camp Camp? Max? That's Michael. But he's not just cool, he's ice cold, because the colour is literally called Ice Blue. Lake Lilac (that resides in Camp Campbell, obviously) Ice Blue. And boy, is he fucking BLUE. Look at this little shit.

All 3D and stuff. You're from 2D animation, son! But he's quite nice to look at - metallic almost. Otherwise, nothing special, he's the same ol' Max. But this colour was exclusive so, suck on that, losers.

And now, because one Fallout parody pin wasn't enough, we've got another founding father. Burnie Burns, everyone! burnie He's ready for the nuclear winter with his trusty camera and he's looking particularly pleased so I'm not sure if he understands how much of a shithole he's going to be living in. If he lives at all. Oh, well, you and the Geoff pin can be fallout buddies. And then there's Gus, to the side, naked. Cheese definitely would survive a nuclear bomb. I'm adding the picture because otherwise you probably won't see the detail unless you go look for yourself, and who knows how lazy all of you are?

And lastly! The Double Gold card finally presents to us The Know. Adam, Ashley, Ben, Gus, Jon, Kdin, Mica...and that's about all I know of that work there. My bad to the rest of the crew! And guess what? I didn't get a signed one again! But this one turned out the right way up! It knows what its doing! I'll stop with the jokes now. I like the art here, the colour scheme really pops. Plus, it accurately depicts the giant that is Adam.

What are The Know's scores? Well, they work quickly and efficiently to bring you the news, as best as they possibly can, even though they're a little clickbait-ey. They score a nine on speed, a ten on intelligence and a whopping ninety-nine on comments section because have you seen the YouTube comments section on their stuff? It's just timestamps, console wars, and compliments to Ashley and Mica and weird things about Gus.

Turns out I actually posted pictures of most of the stuff, but have another look anyway, because I went to the effort of taking the photo.

Don't forget you can check out the photos again, any of them, if you want, in my images > RT Box [insert month/year] album. That is, if you like sideways bullshit. Good luck with that.

Just a little reminder if you haven't seen, but, the monthly RT Boxes are being phased out soon. March will be the last monthly box, and so once that has arrived, I'll do a huge roundup of everything I received since January 2017 - March 2018. From March onwards, the boxes will be bigger and better and come quarterly I will adjust my posts accordingly to that.

Toodles! See you probably next month when January's box inevitably arrives late!

Hey all, I'm not usually active in the community but I've been on the site for years and a first member since the Let's Play Live documentary. I've been to one RT event (Let's Play Live New York) and I watch most AH and RT content. Enough about that, I wanted to share a video my friends and I made for our company channel because it was a lot of fun for us and I think it could make a good Things to do game for the AH crew (or fake AH crew) to play. Check out the video here and let me know what you think!

I haven't be so active on here, well posting on what' going on and all. I honestly don't like talking much about me since I don't think I'm worth to know but I think this announcemnt that I want to say, it's something big for me..

I honestly want to say this year is going to be my first year going to RTX, Austin after being a fan since 2013. I was only 16 years old when youtube put a suggestion video on my dash and it was a Rage Quit video. During that time I was going through a hard path but I would like to thank Michael for helping me forget what was going on in my life. After that I kept on watching on his videos and soon discovered he was part of Achievement Hunters and worked for Roosterteeth. I soon fell in love with AH, I thank them all because their videos are just amazing and helped me through all these years. I have seen them during a Let's Play Live when they came to LA 2016. I was extremely happy. I been seening them on screen for 6 years and only seen them live one day. Now I can't wait to see them all in person and thank each and one of them for helping me. Especially to Michael.

I am now 21 years old, and I am planning to go to RTX this year. This is honestly something big for me. It been a dream to see AH and everyone else in RT. I honestly can't wait but at the same time I don't want to be lost about the event. So if anyone know, it be great to get some tip and advices. Thank you, I'll see you soon RTX!

So I am cancelling my Double Gold subscription.  Why? Because RT Customer Service refuses to answer my question.  All I wanted to know is if I was going to get a January RT Box.  Firstly, it is now February and I still have not received the December box. Second, the Shipment Information was last updated December 3, with nothing showing since, so concern if I was getting the January box I think is valid.  Instead Customer Service first responded that they would process after January 20.  Twelve days later, nothing.  I send follow-up requests and the tickets get closed without a response.  Class act guys.  Two weeks ago Eric Duncan announced changes to the RT Box program, insisting that things were going to be better.  Well maybe fix the program and service the people already paying for it before swapping it out for a new one.

I have so many frustrations with the RT brand right now, this is just fuel for my fire.  There are great creators behind this company, it just feels like they got lost in the quest for the almighty dollar.

For years I've been editing videos and posting to YouTube. When I was 16 I wanted to get started but didn't know where, every editing software I saw was a monthly paid thing, and as an unemployed high school sophomore I couldn't do it. Until I found Windows Movie Maker a complete free software that got basic editing done, I had found my start, made and edited videos every day with WMM. The videos weren't glamorous I wasn't making any Michael Bay style effects I was just putting one scene with another as best I could, until I went to college and got to use Adobe Premiere Pro. There I was able to work on my craft and edit videos in a way that I saw several big YouTubers or Companies edit. I've edited things from skits I made with some friends, animated videos friends gave to me, video games I've recorded, and even got lucky to find directors who asked me to edit their short films. Editing is my passion and my love along with writing and I'm hoping to one day find a job as an editor so that I may turn my passion into a career.
